"Happy Day"

I realized I was a bit temptuous when writing my last post about misbehaved boys...so now I will share a few stories about my favorite students. Yesterday, a few of my students brought me Thanksgiving gifts. Because I like gifts, I told my students that on Thanksgiving, not only do we eat food, we bring each other gifts! (chuckle chuckle). Since I wasn't in such a great mood all week, I knew my students could cheer me up! Here's what a few of my girls brought me:

A box of hand-picked tangerines.
2 chocolate candy bars.
A bag of mints.
A spoonful of ice cream. yup, two girls came to my office and literally spoon-fed me vanilla ice cream.
A Thanksgiving song?
One note, which I KNEW they wrote IN MY CLASS, but I let them anyways because it was for me.
A note which came in the shape of a coffee mug that came in a mini Dunkin' Donuts paper box.





Sometimes I really really love my job.. and my students...
